Nancy Farrell is the Chief Executive Officer of RVA. Ms. Farrell has managed public involvement and public
affairs projects for RVA's clients for 25 years. She has written annual reports, feature articles, video scripts
and newsletters. She facilitates meetings and project dialogues and consults to companies, municipalities and
organizations. She has an extensive background in the management of public policy and public administration issues
and she leads the firm’s social marketing campaign development. Before joining the firm, she was a writer and editor,
then legislative director of a statewide labor union. She has a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Harvard
University’s Kennedy School of Government. Ms. Farrell also served as Chairwoman of the 9 to 5 Organization for
Women Office Workers and is a founder of Local 925, SEIU. Ms. Farrell is currently chair of the Greater Boston
Chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and a member of the National Affiliate Leadership Council.
She is President of the Cronin Foundation to Fight Ovarian Cancer and a
member of the Board of Directors of the Brookline Community Health Foundation.
